GAB Founder Says: ELON MUSK You Can Keep TWITTER

I remember during the past few years when real conservatives, Establishment CONservatives, RINOs, Donald Trump, and a host of others in the 'not progressive' camp would talk about alternatives to TWTR.  They would talk about:

• Parler
• Gettr
• Truth Social

Even though Gab has been out for at least 6 years, they would never mention it.  If I knew about Gab as an option, why wouldn't they know and or mention it?  The only person I hear mention Gab is Royce White, who mentions it as a landing place when he's talking on Steve Bannon's "War Room" podcast.

No one else mentions it at all.  The fix is in.  It's been in for a while.

Andrew Torba, who has had his platform de-platformed from everything, including all the major payment processors, sent out a great email about the news of the Musk "purchase" of Twitter.  Here's a sample:

"Elon can have Twitter.

People falsely assume that Gab is a “Twitter knockoff,” but this hasn’t been the case for several years. Functionally Gab is more like Facebook. We have Gab Groups, Gab Marketplace, Gab News, Gab TV, GabPay, and much more on the way. We aren’t and haven’t been competing with Twitter for years. Facebook users are our core target market.

We quickly realized back in 2019 that the vast majority of people in the United States are simply not on Twitter. The first issue is that over half of Twitter’s “users” are bots. The other half are young inner-city Democrats and journalists, but let’s be honest these people are basically robots too.

The bottom line is these aren’t our people. This isn’t our target market. The majority of people who remain on Twitter today will never use Gab because they will never survive in an environment with true free speech. There is finite number of conservative Twitter users who will make the switch, but tens of millions of Christian Facebook users who want off of Zuckerberg’s demonic plantation.

If anyone is doomed by Elon Musk buying Twitter it’s Parler, Gettr, and Truth Social.

The entire value proposition of Parler, Gettr, and Truth Social was being “not Twitter.” None of them even offer a free speech Terms of Service. In Parler’s case, they bent the knee to Apple and started censoring to get back on the App Store. In Gettr’s case, they ruined their reputation on day one by censoring right-wing political dissidents. Truth Social is a disaster that uses Silicon Valley AI to censor. Its main attraction–President Donald Trump–doesn’t even use his own platform.

I predict that Elon Musk buying Twitter will force the left to balkanize into niche platforms of shared values like the right has. We will see the Gab, Parler, and Gettr of the left pop up. I’ve been talking about the fragmentation and decentralization of social media into smaller niche communities for several years now and things are about to accelerate in this area. That’s a good thing. It means Silicon Valley is losing power and fast.

Bloomberg is reporting that Twitter’s source code has now been locked down to make it harder for current employees to make unauthorized changes to the platform. This tells us that Twitter’s Board recognizes the total and complete internal meltdown that is happening right now.

We’ve seen rogue employees and contractors at Twitter before. Remember the time a random contractor, not even an employee, deactivated the account of the President of the United States? Or how about the former Twitter employees who ended up being spies for Saudi Arabia?

Elon now has to deal with 7,500 far-left Twitter employees and I sincerely wish him all the best in absolutely clearing house and starting from scratch by firing every last one of the existing employees. Needless to say, this won’t be an easy task, nor will be upending Twitter’s policies and technology.

Aside from the internal war and struggle that Elon is about to endure at Twitter he will also face a variety of external attacks from the media, the government, the ADL, and Big Tech giants like Apple and Google who control Twitter’s distribution destiny on the app stores.

Apple’s market cap is 2.7 trillion dollars. Don’t think for one second they won’t ban a $44 billion dollar app like Twitter from their app stores. Fortnite is owned by a $28 billion dollar video game giant and was the most popular video game in the world at the time, but that didn’t stop Apple from banning their app from the App Store without blinking. It won’t stop them from banning Twitter either."

Torba has had The Top of the Pyramid pinch off his access to everything in the mainstream.  He started Gab, it became popular, the Eye of Sauron noticed, and they tried to destroy him and his product.

It's an impressive bit of perseverance on Torba's part.

Elon Will Not Save You

Elon Musk buying Twitter is the new Big Thing.  It isn't the 'current thing', that title still belongs to Ukraine.  Putting the flag in your bio and pledging fealty to the good and wonderful democratic people of Ukraine is still the mandated online pose.

But the Musk / Twitter story is an interesting one.  The Narrative is already out there that Musk will 'bring back free speech', or 'turn Twitter back to the way it was' or 'Elon will save internet open discourse'.

It's all just the manufactured Narrative.  Musk isn't going to 'save' anything.  As you should know by now, someone that high up in the hierarchy is what's called a "Ticket Taker".  Musk has sold out whatever normal, regular smart guy DNA he had for a ticket to The Global Stage.

All of what you hear about Musk being one of the 'good guys' is fake.  This is from December 2021:

Woman Confronts World POWER

It's great to see Alice Walker remain so calm.

Walker was supposed to be one of the honored speakers at the Bay Area Book festival.  She got disinvited because - you can't make this up - she's friends with David Icke.

If you've read Icke's work, or listened to his talks (I've done both) you'll see that he asks great questions about where the Narratives that Control us come from.  That's about it.

Icke must get close to the truth because the Top of the Pyramid calls him all kinds of names, all the pejoratives that get the Normies angry.  The two they use the most on Icke are 'conspiracy theorist' and 'anti-semite'.  This one / two combo has enabled the powers that be to 'cancel' Icke long ago.

Walker, who has always been fiercely independent and outspoken, refuses to bend the knee and terminate her friendship with Icke.

For this, the Book Festival disinvited Walker.  Chris Hedges is all over it:

FEAR is the DISEASE

Owen Benjamin is the undisputed heavyweight champion, in all weight classes, for Most Banned Celebrity.

He's made the point over the past few years that the real disease out there, the one that works, the one for which there is an easy and affordable cure, is fear. They use it on good regular people, and they get those good regular people to make awful decisions, ruin their lives, obliterate their families (or not start families in the first place), and keep them focused on destructive nonsense.

In my public speaking class, we are at the stage where we are looking at people making an argument. In an era of 'viruses', 'diseases', 'germs', and 'contagions',  it was particularly appropriate to analyze Benjamin's argument that they've constantly peddled fear via Time Magazine, and that fear and its concomitant despair are the real diseases.

Scott Atlas, 2 Yrs Later, Delivers the POST MORTEM

If you have any faith in the institutions of the United States after watching this presentation you're completely lost.

500 Years Ago the Aztec Empire FELL to Cortes and SPAIN

500 years ago yesterday, August 13th, 1521, everything changed.

The reigning superpower in Central America, the Aztec Empire, fell to Cortes.  It took him around 2 years to do it, and it took his military and political genius, as well as the unheralded engineering genius of Martin Lopez to take town Tenochtitlan, the capital city.  Tenochtitlan is known today as Mexico City.

As the Prometheans work hard to take down all aspects of the West, including basic freedoms and civil rights, it's important to see why.  When you have a short, poorly schooled but well read man like Hernan Cortes, and an unsung, nearly historically invisible man like Martin Lopez able to change the course of human history, you can see why "They" don't want a country like these United States, or any country buttressed by Western Culture to exist.

Snake Pliskin (or Eric Adams) We NEED YOU

NYC is in shambles.  Maybe the gun carrying next Mayor will fix it.

While I never seek the "salvation through legislation" answer to any problem, it looks like former NYC cop Eric Adams will be the next mayor, and this is good:

This is similar to the one time H. Clinton brought up gun control during the 2016 debates.  Trunq simply said, after she mentioned the 'gun violence' and 'gun control' talking points, "then disarm your security detail". 

The issue was never brought up again.

Maybe Adams either failed "NYC Cliche's 101", or he is just telling the truth.  Either way, he got my vote, and my attention with that.  It can only be a plus as the current mayor is the worst NYC mayor of all time.  

Warren Wilhelm (DiBlasio) was unwilling to police rioters and looters, and smiled while the city burned.  But now he wants to police 8 million people by not allowing them to eat out:

DiBlasio is despised by everyone I know, even the hard core NYC liberals.  This next guy can only be better, there is no way around it.  Even the Manhattan Contrarian is optimistic, which is saying a lot as he's the gold standard for NYC conservative curmudgeonry:

More Evidence of the Crackup

Matt Taibbi wrote a great piece a few days ago, and he followed it up with another one on the reaction.  Taibbi is smart, he knows that the reaction is the key to much of what goes on in the zeitgeist.  All current and former smart leftists know this.  It's why I've talked about it often.

His analysis is solid, especially when it comes to the tactics of the SJW / Woke / Online Progressive poaster.

However, he ends the article with what is a comically Boomer-esque take: 

"As any married person knows, there are certain words you never say in a fight, because you’ll still be living together when it’s over. Americans, like it or not, are married to one another. That’s not accommodationist talk, it’s just fact. The people we disagree with aren’t going anywhere, and it makes more sense to talk to them than not."

I think he's way off, and I commented with this:

"Americans, like it or not, are married to one another."

No, I don't think this is the correct conclusion.

The fracturing has already started. At some point, things like Missouri nullifying all of the Obama era gun laws, simply saying 'we're not going to enforce, or help you enforce your un-American 2A laws' will continue in many ways. Eastern Oregon is practically its own country. What happens when counties, or towns, nearly self sufficient, simply refuse to comply with the progressive (or conservative) overlords? What happens when a county in flyover USA, 98% white, does this? Calling them "RACIST!!" will have no effect. They already don't care, they're armed to the teeth, and that tactic has no purchase with them as of right now. They not only aren't going to start watching CNN if Tucker gets cancelled, they'll ignore all of the other SJW / WOKE / BLM urban stupidity.

This is why the "we are married and have to live together" theme is incorrect. To imagine that a gun owning, farm country, flag waving, Tucker watching community is going to listen to an AOC or a $144million Pelosi is supremely flawed. States like NH, ID, TX, FL and MO are already in motion. Hell, TELL, one of the best natgas companies, has a huge project going online in 2 years in Louisiana, while NY shut down its nuclear plant in Indian Point. This economic / energy decision-making is in the ether, and seems to be growing.

It won't just be "voting with your feet". It will be deeper than that.

The Sha'Carri Richardson Suspension

The Richardson affair is one of the metrics that acts as a societal placeholder.

Sha'Carri Richardson was suspended for 30 days for marijuana use.  It's against the rules in the sport.  Sha'Carri herself seems to be holding herself accountable.  From what I can tell, she not only explained herself, but is taking her suspension as best she can, as well as showing the disappointment that any young adult would in such a high wattage public situation.  Her demeanor seems admirable.

Not so for the hustlers and grifters with the large megaphones:

The marijuana rules in sports weren't 'systemically racist' .... until now apparently.  Because every year is Year Zero, people brought up the Michael Phelps incident in 2008, until they realized that he was suspended based on no positive test, and a photo where you had to guess the date.  It was also after the 2008 olympics, and he lost a major endorsement from Kellogg's.  But none of this matters.  What matters is the grift, the opportunity to howl about racism, the rabid desire for likes and follows.  As I've mentioned often, the hypocrisy is built in.  

Our young people see this happening.  What do they learn?  That certain rules are for certain people.  There are no standards, and that if you're someone of note, the Cabal will stand up for you and go to the wall to see to it that your'e defended in the court of public opinion.  

It's why many of my teenage students think that there is some sort of conspiracy against them if they break the rules at school.  After all, if you yell loudly enough, and talk about oppression, don't rules and laws vanish?  Out on the street, they find out the hard way that they don't.

And that's how things are these days.

Bill Cosby FREE

Bill Cosby was part of my Red Pill experience.  He gave the now famous 'Pound Cake Speech' back in 2004.  He was funny, cutting, truthful, brave, and edgy saying what he said at the NAACP convention that year.  It was the level of truth that got my attention.  To say what he did during the 50th anniversary of Brown v. Bd. of Ed was intense.

What shook me up was the reaction.  People went off the wall with their criticism.  I wasn't used to that at the time.  Why weren't people refuting his claims?  Why weren't they answering with thoughtful responses and counter arguments?  It seems so naive now, but that's where my head was at the time.  I work in the neighborhood just like the ones Cosby mentions in the speech.  He is right on all fronts.  The Dem / Lib / Prog criticism was stupid, wrong, and dangerous.  The Red Pill I took was that the so-called Left wasn't interested in changing anything, they were interested in their 'team' being in control, or being in control themselves.

Brown and Abdul-Rauf Speak TRUTH

As this stage of the game I wonder how long Kwame Brown's YouTube channel will last.

I say that because in this video, these two men explain only a little bit about the power structure within professional basketball, but quite a bit about the power structure in the community.

They go into detail about control.  Starting at a young age, particularly in the black community, you have forces at work that are going to try to direct a person's path.  If a young black man is a star at basketball, the 'machine' gets him, and moves him up - if he serves the purposes of the pyramid like structure that runs the show.

Then, when they get to the top, it seems like they've been bought off.  Why is that?

Rauf goes into some detail about how there are few honorable men running things within the NBA.  He had a difficult path, and not only because he was belatedly diagnosed with Tourette's, but also because he took a position where he wouldn't stand for the anthem.  Rauf wouldn't follow the beat of the "go along get along gang" as Kwame Brown calls it - and he paid for it.

While listening to this and hearing them talk about the 'club' that runs the NBA, I couldn't help but think of the ridiculous stunt they pulled off to get Donald Sterling out and Steve Ballmer in as owner of the LA Clippers.

This is a great conversation, not just for sports fans, but for anyone who is curious as to why things in certain areas of American society are the way they are.  There's a lot of truth in this, which is why I wonder how long Brown's channel will stay up.

"Libertarian" Tries to Cancel Woods. I Wrote THIS

From Tom Woods' newsletter:

"In Nevada there had been total silence about the lockdowns. Not one word. The state party did have time to criticize Ron Paul, whose shoes they are not fit to shine, and accuse everyone under the sun of "bigotry." They somehow managed to pencil that into their busy schedules.

I have seen my critics call AOC, in these exact words, "the most libertarian member of Congress." Thomas Massie, meanwhile, the real hero (to those of us who, unlike my critics, have a complaint or two about Dr. Fauci), is shunned.

A fellow named Elliott Scheirman, who by what I am sure is pure coincidence wrote in support of the lockdowns, is circulating a petition to get my invitation to speak withdrawn."

I wrote this letter to the Libertarian National Committee in response:

"Good afternoon,

I have just gotten the information that someone named Elliot Schneirman has been trying to get Tom Woods' invitation to speak at the 2022 Libertarian National Convention revoked. As someone who has taught in the African American community for 26 years, I will be watching this closely. So will my former, current, and future students. For decades, our clientele here in Mt. Vernon (and in the Bronx before that) has been denied basic civil rights - speech being only one. As one of the bastions of freedom and civil rights, the libertarian community is one of my go-to places to show students what it means to fight for basic freedoms. I have put Tom Woods' material in front of my students for years. They like, respect, and appreciate the sentiments and philosophy he teaches. While not always in agreement with Dr. Woods, students always remark that he has made them think.

To hear that there is someone trying to revoke speech in this arena is disappointing, and darkly comical. I respectfully ask that you pay attention to this matter. It will be difficult, if not impossible, to use the Libertarian Party and introduce it to students as a healthy escape from the ever-tightening grip of the "R" and the "D" parties if such a thing were to come to pass.

It is possible you do not understand who is paying attention. We are not part of blue check Twitter (or Twitter at all for that matter), and we do not pay much attention to politically correct foolishness online. As Ralph Ellison wrote many years ago, we are invisible. We have bigger fish to fry when it comes to freedom. The government-imposed, freedom stifling lockdowns have devastated this community. They have caused drug use to go higher. Two of my top students attempted suicide within the past year, and last week I went to student’s funeral. He was shot and killed in broad daylight. Had he been in school he would be alive today. It is vital that a voice against this kind of wanton government overreach be spoken about. Tom Woods is one of the best critics of these awful policies. Your party and platform should celebrate such people and shun anyone who wants to block someone like Woods.

I hope whatever inertia has gathered behind the movement to revoke Woods' invitation is stifled. To see "The Party of Principle" even consider such a thing is unfortunate. It will have an echo effect in places which you may be unfamiliar."

They Are Working Overtime to Control YOU

Glenn Greenwald wrote a short article on how Congress is working overtime to get Big Tech to censor more of American's online travels.  GG's take on Jack Dorsey was quite interesting.  The paragraph on Zuckerberg alone made my yearly subscription worth the price:

The comment section on GG's articles is pretty good.  25% of them are Normies, wailing about "but don't they understand that the 1st Amendment says....?!?!"  These people haven't figured out that it's simply about control.  The globalist progressive Woke Hive Mind demands subservience, nothing else.  The constitution is a dead letter to them, unless it's convenient.

I posted this comment - a good one I think:

"Escaping the Cult of Free is part of the solution. Protonmail, Gab, Locals, BitChute, Substack, and other platforms are where people are heading. Big Tech got everyone in the pen because it was free. They've convinced you that you must use their platforms, and built up the most powerful flywheel in the human mind: HABIT. I remember when it was odd that companies were pushing their FB pages in your face. FB was a boring site where no one went. 

Then 'suddenly' every major corp had a FB page. Even more interesting when you consider that ZBerg is obviously easy to control, and the Winklevoss twins are not. Even MORE interesting when you look at the gov't agency early funding of the site.

Greenwald vs. Big Tech

I've mentioned the small number of left leaning journalists out there.  Greenwald is leading a very small parade of people who are correctly noting and writing about the dangerous power of Big Tech. 

Andrew Breitbart saw it years ago, but the mainstream did everything to destroy him, and then it literally did just that.

Now the chickens are coming home to roost, and Silicon Valley and the Corporate Media are both fighting each other and trying to work together to stifle any dissent.  If you at all veer from the Prog SJW BLM narrative, you are censored.

Greenwald and others are fighting this.  He and others spoke before Congress:

"The Subcommittee held a hearing on Friday and I was invited to testify along with Microsoft President Brad Smith; President of the News Guild-Communications Workers of America Jonathan Schleuss, the Outkick’s Clay Travis, CEO of the Graham Media Group Emily Barr, and CEO of the News Media Alliance David Chavern. The ostensible purpose the hearing was a narrow one: to consider a bill that would vest media outlets with an exemption from anti-trust laws to collectively bargain with tech companies such as Facebook and Google so that they can obtain a greater share of the ad revenue. The representatives of the news industry and Microsoft who testified were naturally in favor of this bill (they have been heavily lobbying for it) because it would benefit them commercially in numerous way (the Microsoft President maintained the conceit that the Bill-Gates-founded company was engaging in self-sacrifice for the good of Democracy by supporting the bill but the reality is the Bing search engine owners are in favor of anything that weakens Google)."

This is important work. It's a watershed event because you are seeing the small number of people out there who aren't simply vying for power, or jockeying for position in this New Order of the Media Industrial Complex.

Greenwald and his kind are people with standards. They want uncensored media, and are willing to take heat in order to defend it. These people are rare and deserve to be heard and supported. I subscribe to his substack page. You should know, they are trying to censor Substack because there is too much truth on it. Too many people who aren't slavishly following the Narrative reside there. Greenwald is certainly leading that parade.

Rush Goes Home

"You are what your record says you are." - Bill Parcells

Rush Limbaugh died the other day of lung cancer.  He was 70.  

I'm glad I'm not on any major social media anymore.  I can only imagine the SJW progressive vitriol and nonsense about his death.  Reveling and sneering while bathing in a non-progressives blood is ok.  I saw it all the time during the decade I wasted on Fakebook.  Clout chasing, virtue signaling, wave riding, status jockeying insects would all pile on the recently deceased non-progressive and say the stupidest, roughest and dumbest things imaginable. 

It was OK with them, because "it's ok when WE do it!"

I saw this manifest when Ted Kennedy died.  If you brought up that he murdered a woman, you were a terrible person, and the Swarm came after you.  The double standards and hypocrisy were incredible.  But they don't care.  It's part of who they are and what they do.

Rush Limbaugh changed drive time radio.  He retired an extremely wealthy man, and got the Presidential Medal of Freedom.  I wasn't a huge listener.  I read The Way Things Ought to Be only a few years ago.  It was pretty good.  I heard him the first time in the early nineties when my cousin drove me to a family reunion.  I was a non political democrat at the time, so I wasn't into it at all.

As I changed, I recognized what Rush had done.  I listened to him during my mainstream conservative phase.  

We see these days if you're on FB or IG, or TWTR, and you're not an SJW progressive roach, you get hammered.  Going into those arenas as a real conservative or libertarian gets you swarmed, destroyed, and cancelled.  Rush went into an entire industry, and did it anyway.  He went completely against the grain.  It's incredible when you think about it.  Additionally, he became less of a neoconservative and more of a true conservative as the years passed and the awful Bush years receded.

Those are some serious headwinds.  One can only imagine the level and number of threats he received.  It must have taken a monumental act of will to continue at times.

The Monster Hunter summed it up well in his concise letter:

"There are a lot of haters out there saying vile things today. But they’re idiots with sad pathetic lives looking for validation from their tribe. What would Rush do about their hate? Use them as a teachable moment and then mock them in an amusing way for the audience. There’s a valuable lesson there for all of us.

The man was brilliant and could articulate things in a way that most people simply can’t. He had that gift where he could take the things that many people were feeling but couldn’t put into words, and then give them a voice. That’s a rare talent. Some might even say on loan from God.

Rest in peace, Mr. Limbaugh."

Inauguration Day - Something is Up

There are many things strange going on.  All of them point to DJT having a second term. I'm going to type from memory here so I might forget a few things.  Most of what I'm writing is from Vox's blog or Zerohedge.  Some of it is from other sources.

• Cuomo isn't going to the inaugural because it's 'dangerous'.
• 25,000 National Guardsmen stationed in a cordoned off Washington DC.
• Two interesting and recent EO's that don't sound like someone who is leaving office.
• Pelosi is thrashing around, sounding scared.
• A ludicrous 9-days-to-go impeachment sham.
• Cancelled inaugural celebration rehearsals.
• Cancelled inaugural festivities / parade.
• Governments collapsing in Europe: ie Estonia and Italy.
• 9 Catholic archbishops all die in a single week.

The Psychopathic School

I don't have too much to say about this one.  This is a real post on our school software, from a real person, and it got good reactions from some staff.

In case you're wondering why the students in your local public school are dumb as a bag of hammers, and have no usable skills, this will show you why.

This was a reaction to yesterday's events in Washington DC.  The heavy breathing of the Disgusting Corporate Press was the default repetitive reaction of some of the people in school administration.  They just parrot whatever NPR or CNN tell them to say and think.  Instead of teaching your children anything useful, they post things like this to everyone.  This is the stuff your children's teachers focus on.  And you wonder why Johnny can't add.

John Taylor Gatto Speaks to a 2021 12th Grader

 I showed Gatto's "Classrooms of the Heart" to this year's seniors.  They get it.  As usual, they get it better than most of the adults in their lives.  The unorthodox thoughts, systems, methods and concepts that JT Gatto introduced to his 8th graders rang true with students who weren't born until 2002.
