The 'green energy transition' is an impossibility.  Don't buy into it.  Don't even think it's going to happen.

Let's review.  

In order to have electric devices; from cars to refrigerators, there has to be copper, lithium, cobalt, graphite, and many other Rare Earth Elements.

All of those things have to be mined.

Newsome and all the rest can pass all the laws they want.  Either people are going to have their electricity bills, rise 600%, or there will be rolling blackouts, or energy rationing, or the "green" and "renewable" energy change won't happen.

Your politicians are ignoring chemistry, math and physics.  The aren't following the Science!.

The first wave of the green energy transition movements in the USA and the EU demand more copper than exists in the world today.

Limits to OIL: The Most IMPORTANT Article You Didn't Read

This article should have been on the front page of every newspaper, and the lead headline on every website:

 

For years, everyone assumed that if the world needed more oil, the Saudis could just pump more and fill the gap.

That looks like a bygone era.

The idea that the Saudis were sitting on a ton of 'spare capacity' was one of the beliefs that backstopped the faith of "we will never run out of supply".

Additionally, the people at Bison Interests and Nine Point partners have been talking about the Myth of Saudi Arabia's Spare Capacity for at least 18 months.  

They were, of course, called "conspiracy theorists".  They're not called that anymore.

Saudi Arabia has set a hard limit on what it will pump.  This is unprecedented.  Why they're announcing it now is anybody's guess, but Javier Blas, a reliable and fearless source within The Machine, spells it out (emphasis mine):

"If the obstacle to boosting production is geology, rather than pessimism about future oil demand, the world faces a rocky period if consumption turns to be stronger than currently expected. For now, Saudi peak production is a relatively distant matter, at least five years away. More urgent is whether Riyadh would be able to sustain its current output of 11 million — something it has achieved only twice in its history, and then only briefly — let alone increase it further. But that ceiling will matter towards the end of the decade, and perhaps even earlier.

Despite widespread talk about peak oil demand, the truth is that, for now at least, consumption keeps growing. The world relies heavily on three nations for crude: the US, Saudi Arabia and Russia. Together, they account for nearly 45% of global total oil supply. With US investors unwilling to finance a return to the days of “drill, baby, drill” at home, American output growth is now slower than it was in the 2010s. Russia faces an even darker outlook as the impact of Western sanctions not only curb current supply, but also hinder its ability to expand in the future."

You and your children will be using oil for the rest of your lives.  The demand for oil is increasing. The ESG scam is slowly fraying around the edges, and we are going to see if Europe, particularly Germany, is willing to go without power and heat during the winter.  People will put on sweaters or take shorter showers as they're being commanded, but no power means you can't charge your iPhone and go on Social Media.  Temperature is one thing, but when people can't watch Saucy Santana twerk (don't look, whatever you do) on Instagram, all hell will break loose.

I warned you not to do that.

The BRICSIA countries are ignoring the clownishness of the West.  ESG, Global Warming, Climate Change, Greta, Gender assigned at Birth, Grievance Studies majors in 'college' - that's a joke to the larger part of the world.  

The BRICSIA countries are going to advance economically using fossil fuels, just like the countries in the West did.  China, India and Brazil pay lip service to 'climate change' as they are smart enough to appease the market, but in practice they are not joining the NATO contingent and participating in National Seppuku.  Memorize the list:

• Argentina

Algeria is applying for BRICSIA membership.  What does Algeria have? 12 billion barrels of oil in reserve.  That's almost 80 times what it consumes nationally.  You do the math.

Green ELITES: Netherlands EDITION

We've seen Sri Lanka fall.  They are in for a huge amount of suffering, all so that they could get a great "ESG Score", and kneel before the Global Depopulationists who tell us we need to be worried about "Climate Change".

Here is the key part of what Michael Schellenberger noted about the collapse:

“But the underlying reason for the fall of Sri Lanka is that its leaders fell under the spell of Western green elites peddling organic agriculture and ‘ESG,’ which refers to investments made following supposedly higher Environmental, Social, and Governance criteria. Sri Lanka has a near-perfect ESG score (98) which is higher than Sweden (96) or the United States (51).”

Fantastic.  They had a perfect ESG score, so Davos Man was happy, and the multi millionaires at Blackrock were happy - let by billionaire ESG master wizard Larry Fink.

The nation is is shambles, children are starving ... but they were fighting Climate Change so I guess it is all worth it.

Now it's the Netherlands' turn:

This time, it's 'nitrogen pollution'.  Because 'climate change' has become a magic buzzword, and people don't look things up, the Green Elites justifiably feel that they can make any law, pass any policy, no matter how bad.

"The Netherlands is the largest exporter of meat in Europe and the second largest exporter of food overall after the United States, a remarkable feat for a nation half the size of Indiana. Food exports generate more than $100 billion a year in revenue. Experts attribute the nation’s success to its farmers’ embrace of technological innovation."

If the Netherlands produce and export so much meat, why would you pass a policy that would hamstring farmers so badly that they will not only go out of business, but also cause untoward starvation?  Is the nitrogen pollution so serious that they must do something?

Of course not:

There isn't a nitrogen pollution problem.  The numbers are better now than they were in the 1980's and 1990's.  And population has increased over that time.

So what is it about?

These people are fixated on depopulation.  They want a small, manageable global population where you are little more than a serf, and you will do as you're told. Their ideal system resembles an ant colony, and you're one of the drones.

They talk about this all the time.  They give each other awards for this kind of thing.  They've been on this project for decades at least.  Now they're going for the brass ring.

Is this a "Conspiracy Theory!?"  Notice that all they need to do is say those words and 80% of people's minds turn off.

If there is no nitrogen problem, why put in such severe restrictions?  Give me a logical reason.  I'll listen.

In the meantime, good for the Dutch farmers.  Their gov't is in thrall to the WEF, so it's necessary that they get tons of support. Go Dutch Farmers!

The REAL Insurrection: Sri Lanka COLLAPSES

What is required at this time in history is real talk.  Vox Popoli says it here:

He's mentioning this because the seeds of what you see above in Sri Lanka are being planted in the West.  Switzerland has realized that the looming gas shortage is going to be at such a serious level, people will freeze or starve.  Germany is now not only burning coal, but you can't find a wood stove or firewood if your life depended on it (which in 4 months it will).

The globalists who Donald Trump talked about are in the process of trying to manage the destruction of the Modern West, while maintaining power, and rebuilding the ruins in the vision they see as heaven on earth.

Does that sound religious?  It should.  Only zealotry explains the decisions to ban / limit wood burning in NY or NYC.  Remember, NY isn't Sri Lanka. However, the mindset and the globalist puppetry decision-making is the same.

Sri Lanka is the canary in the coal mine.  Get a landing place outside of the city.

World War III: Cow FART Catalyst

Remember how you laughed at the 'conspiracy theorists' and their kooky ideas about how the New World Order wanted to institute a depopulationist agenda?  How Agenda 21 and the co-opting of the once proud and legit environmentalist movement was a move toward not only world government, but also creating a docile, manageable number of Useless Eaters? (That's what they call you by the way).

All of this is currently right in front of everyone, first row, out in the open - which is always the best place to hide something.  Witness:

That's just a proposed idea, due in 2025.  The real ideas are already here, in The Netherlands:

Here's the setup.  A group of unelected bureaucrats, supported by no-one, has decided to fight "climate change" by seeing to it that the farmers in the Netherlands reduce their nitrogen pollution.

Isn't 80% of the atmosphere already nitrogen?  Ms. Goldstein taught me that in 7th grade science at JHS 167.  But the EU rules say that it's 'pollution' and it needs to be reduced.  Because it will affect the climate and global warming.

If you have to give up your heritage farm that's been in the family for generations, well, so what?  Aren't you aware of the Climate Crisis?  A bureaucrat in Brussels, unelected, beholden to no one, totally unaccountable for bad decisions, knows what is best.  

Here's the best part: They fly around on private jets, eat meat, stay in the best hotels, get the best health care, all the while telling the Useless Eaters (you) how you will own nothing and like it. By 'own nothing' they mean your farm in the Netherlands, or your nice house, or electricity for your iPhone, or really anything they deem unnecessary.  Even you.  You've probably cut a huge fart sometime in the last 24 hours or so.  Wouldn't want to contribute to Global Warming now, would you?

Now that I'm thinking about it, there's an even better part.  As the Neo Liberal Rules Based World Order collapses, they are attempting to manage the decline while staying in power.  The fact that people in emerging economies are suffering and dying is irrelevant.  You thought your BIPOC status would save you?  Even the BIPOC are to bend the knee, suffer and grovel before their betters:

The same scene can be found in Peru and Sri Lanka.

There is a food crisis, rampant inflation, supply chain disruptions, a lack of energy of all kinds ... and the bureaucrats in the EU, as well as the FedGov of the USA wants to throttle all of those things more ... to help the "Climate"?

I'm not sure how to explain to any adult, or competent child, that these people don't care about the 'climate' any more than they care about your health or livelihood.  To think that these bureaucrats care about the weather, so that you will be healthy and OK, while witnessing what is going on in the world is a frame of mind reserved for the intellectually bereft.

The Dutch are fighting back.  Russia has already shown that it will fight back, soon to be followed by China.  Brazil, Indonesia, India, much of Eastern Europe, as well as large sections of Africa and South America will easily see that starvation and death in an electricity-free world is not an equal trade off for fighting "nitrogen pollution" or "climate change".

India has already show the way.  John Kerry flew in last year on his private jet to explain to the Indians what they needed to do save the planet: set goals for NetZero.

India's answer?  It went something like this:  

"NetZero is some kind of silly buzzword repeated by people who used oil, coal and gas to achieve first world status.  We don't have a 'climate' problem, we have a poverty and hunger problem, so take your goals and tell them to some clod in The West who actually buys your line of bull.  We're going to do THIS":

That's right.  7000 Megawatts of new coal fired power.  Think about that while you take your biodegradable food trash outside in the rain to the mulch container ... to save the planet from climate change.

Sanction RUSSIA: Russia STRENGTHENS

Here in Clown World, aka the section of the world that is ruled over by the Neo Liberal Rules Based World Order, we put Ukrainian flags on our bios, we celebrate 'diversity', we have Pride Month, we support 'green' energy, and we worship St. George F.  We also think rhetoric and feelings rule the day.

In other parts of the world, parts that are based on real things and consequences, they understand that rhetoric and feelings are meaningless if you flip the switch and the lights don't go on, or you turn on the heat and there's no power, or your grid has rolling blackouts.

Energy is life, and you need energy to survive. 

Putin! did something that the NWO didn't like.  There were many reasons for it.  The pets in the Western Corporate Media dialed up the rhetoric, put flags in the bios, told us all sorts of lying nonsense ('In 10 days Putin runs out of weapons' .. that was 2 months ago), and yet the Russian economy is fine, and the ruble is stronger than before.  Why?

People need energy, and they really need oil and gas and coal.  They are buying it from Russia, because they have it:

Look at all the EU and NATO countries on the list.  They seem to think that you can wish for something to happen, and that's all it takes.  

The countries NOT part of the Neo Liberal Order are going to buy fossil fuels from whomever has it, and Russia is one of the top suppliers in the world.

You have China, India, and S. Korea on that list above.  Not only have they NOT condemned Russia's invasion of Ukraine, they will continue to buy from Russia. Not on the list (yet) are Indonesia and Brazil.  What are the combined populations of all of those countries: 4 billion?  Brazil isn't part of the Neo-Liberal clown world.  Bolsonaro openly mocks the leadership of Ukraine.  Those 4 countries probably represent at least 2/3 of the world's population.

In general, countries that have energy have seen their currencies strengthen, while those who import it have seen their currencies weaken.  The ruble, dollar and loonie have done well.  The euro, Turkish Lira, and the yen have collapsed.

Now that we're in WWIII, you have to, more than ever, stop listening to Corporate Media, and find reliable sources that will explain things in real world terms.  The 'western' corporate media has some of the worst despair merchants, always lying and projecting what they want, and not what is.  As we've learned in the past, Social Justice Warriors always lie, and they always project.

Don't give them your time.

MOAR COAL

Remember the "climate change is an existential threat!" talking point in 2018-2019?  It was temporarily removed during the Novel Coronavirus Era - shoved to the side and completely ignored until that Narrative ran out of steam.

They brought it back slowly, around a year ago.  Then Putin happened.

You know how concerned the EU, the WEF, the UN, and the top brass in the USA are about the climate and carbon emissions?  They've no concern whatsoever.  It has only and always been a way to control you by either making you poorer, or forcing certain laws on you (in the interest of Climate Change of course).

How seriously would you take noted scientist John Kerry flying in on a private jet, lecturing you about Global Warming and carbon emissions, and explaining how you need to stop using fossil fuels?

Exactly.

This latest development lets you know that they are completely full of it:

"... in an effort to save natural gas."

I'll translate: "our people will flip the switch and expect the lights to go on, and to be able to charge their iPhones and go on Social Media.  They will riot and come after us like the people in Sri Lanka if there is no electricity."

The article does not contain the words 'climate change'.  I did ctrl-F just to check.

When it gets cold in the winter, Germany needs natural gas to heat its homes.  55% of natural gas, until a few months ago, was supplied by Russia.  Technically, they are saving natural gas by using coal, but what about the "existential threat?!!" 

Here's the info on the coal fired power station pictured above:

"Neurath Power Station is a lignite-fired power station at Neurath in Grevenbroich, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located to the south of Grevenbroich, and it borders the municipalities of Rommerskirchen and Bedburg. The power station consists of seven units and it is owned by RWE. It was named as the second biggest single polluter for carbon dioxide emissions in the European Union in 2019 by the EU's Transport and Environment Group."

Germany could reduce its carbon emissions for baseload power to near zero if it wanted.  They have the nuclear power, but are turning it off.  Nuclear is the answer if you're concerned about "climate change", as it emits NO carbon.  You need to realize it's all a game to them - a game for acquisition of your capital and to control you.  There is no noble concern for your health and well being, nor for that of the earth either.

Irina Slav explains how these Noble Priorities vanish, as they were clownish, cloddish canards in the first place:

"Funnily enough, politicians on both sides of the Atlantic continue to talk about the energy transition although the talk increasingly sounds like a scratched record. Look at this press briefing with Energy Secretary Granholm, for example.

All the talk about clean energy being the only way forward certainly seem to be evidence that Granholm has an excellent rote memory but not much else. I especially liked her praise for refiners who have turned their refineries into biofuel production facilities… a day before she met with refiners to ask them to boost oil refining capacity.

Meanwhile, as I mentioned in an earlier post, the EC’s President is calling on people to reduce their thermostats by 2 degrees, apparently forgetting we are in summer now, not in winter, and if we’re talking about energy savings, we should be turning thermostats up. Again, it smacks of an automatic repetition of an idea that has pretty much lost its meaning."

It never had any meaning in the first place.  

At least the German Government has an answer to the whole problem.  They will rhetoric harder.  I'm sure it will make a difference:

"The German government recently called on citizens to cut back their energy use in light of the strained supply situation.

“It’s obviously Putin’s strategy to make us insecure, to drive up prices and divide us,” Mr. Habeck said. “We will not allow that to happen. We will defend ourselves resolutely, precisely and thoughtfully.”"

All the while burning coal, polluting the air, turning off nuclear plants, and ignoring the Inconvenient Truth that coal is the worst offender if you are buying into the 'climate change' Narrative.

It's Going to Get WORSE

Irina Slav is keeping me informed about all the bad Energy Decisions afoot in the EU. I am a subscriber to her page, and recommend her work:

The EU is going to ban insurers from insuring Russian oil.  That will show Putin!

Irina Slav predicts, correctly, the following:

"So, we have:

• higher government spending for governments already burdened by a lot of pandemic spending, 
• higher energy prices, 
• higher oil import bills, and shrinking global oil supply, which means 
• higher oil prices overall.

This in turn will lead to the need for even more government help for consumers and businesses, even higher oil import bills and so on. It’s a rather pretty vicious circle as far as vicious circles go."

Ms. Slav is correct, of course.  

She brings up the question of whether these people are stupid or malicious.  There were some clueless conservative commenters who are SURE that these EU people are simply stupid.  Slav words things a bit better, and opens up that she's considering a - gasp! - conspiracy (emphasis mine):

"This seems to be an opinion shared by the decision-makers in Brussels. Indeed, it makes sense. In fact, it makes so much sense that I have had the growing suspicion — which I’ve shared previously here — that in their endless efforts to make the transition work, EU politicians may well choose a course of action that seeks to make fossil fuels prohibitively expensive in order to boost the competitiveness of wind and solar, and EVs.

To be perfectly honest, this still sounds a little too conspiratorial for my taste and I’d rather bet on incompetence driving decision-makers to the decisions that will put us all in the vicious circle. In other words, I’m inclined to believe that the acceleration of the energy transition as prompted by the oil crisis is more likely an unintended rather than an intended consequence.

The reason for this belief of mine is that this acceleration will also have major unintended consequences of the sort that simply cannot be intended. Unless, of course, one argues that blackouts and energy rationing are part of a plan to significantly reduce energy consumption in the most active consumers as part of another, bigger, plan to rearrange world order. And this is how we enter another vicious circle, this time a circle of speculation, that I’d rather not stay in. I’ll wait for evidence."

I don't think these people are stupid at all.  And Ms. Slav should see that the 'evidence' is right in front of her.  They know how people work, how to get power, and how to hold on to it.  This was my comment, mostly directed toward the "don't attribute to malice what can easily be explained by stupidity" crowd:

"Great article. You've nailed the vicious cycle that will ensue with yet another poor decision. I don't think these people are "stupid" at all. They're trying to maintain their world order, no matter the cost. Weak, hungry, desperate people with no access to regular energy sources are very easy to control. That may sound harsh and ridiculous to us, but these people don't care. They want power, and will do whatever it takes to consolidate power and maintain it.

Russia, China, India and Iran (and others) want no part of the "Rules Based Neo Liberal World Order" or whatever they're calling it these days. The forces at work who have destroyed once proud western Christian nations have no place to land this time around. To me, it all looks quite religious, for lack of a better term.

And the "how long will people tolerate this!?" question has been answered already. The 'land of the free' citizens dutifully wore a useless mask on their faces, closed their businesses and churches, kept their children home from school, and did as they were told. All the while their health authorities were publishing data that 99+ percent of those under 70 were effectively at no risk.

They bent the knee for Cough Lockdowns. They will now sacrifice for Climate Lockdowns. How those lockdowns look will remain to be seen. Perhaps something like this - and it will work:

ATTN: "Power will be curtailed tonight as we need to sacrifice 3 nights this week all summer to fight climate change." Thank you citizens of (fill in western city here). #savetheplanet #followthescience "

In case you think I'm wrong, here's one of the top lieutenants of the NWO recently telling us that BUG19 really wasn't that big of risk, that the survival rate was not much worse than the regular flu:
