I just listened to David Sirota on Matt Taibbi's podcast. Some of the seeds for today's clownshow were quietly planted back during the 2007-2009 financial crisis. The Power Elite are slick, as they still manage to escape blame. The housing crisis / financial crash and Obama's role in it, the toothless regulations, the incredible bailouts for the banks, while the regular people get smoked ... these things I share with upperclassmen at work in ROOM 227.
