They Don't Want to Turn On Their Cameras

They don't want to turn on their cameras because things are rough where I work. How do you tell a student who lives modestly, to say the least, to turn on the camera so I can see? What if the apartment is an embarrassment to the student? This is just the tip of the iceberg of the wretched and deleterious effects of school closings and lockdowns. You don't read about this stuff in regular media because it doesn't fit The Narrative. At around 8:20 I talk about the state of school in the Bad Neighborhood.
