Taibbi rips apart the Corporate Media and their servants, the Democrats in Congress, as toadies for the person they pretended to detest 15 years ago: Dick Cheney.
Libertarians have known forever that the wholly artificial "R vs. D Cage Match" was a farce from the beginning. Eventually, the war against _____ becomes the war against the Bill of Rights.
Every person labelled Conspiracy Theorist!, Xenophobe!, Racist! and Fascist! has known this from the beginning. It's good to have Taibbi on board, as he has a huge platform and following. Substack is already blocked in China. I wonder how long it will take for it to be throttled here in the so called USA.
It's probably too late to stop the decline, which is why I wrote this as a comment:
In 1938, Garet Garrett's essay "The Revolution Was" began with "There are those who still think they are holding the pass against a revolution that may be coming up the road. But they are gazing in the wrong direction. The revolution is behind them. It went by in the Night of Depression, singing songs to freedom."
Nothing has changed. The 'revolution within the form' talked about by Garrett is still going on. The people who the mainstream called Conspiracy Theorists!! (Birchers as well as those who questioned the JFK official story), Militia!! (those who questioned the ridiculous official story of OKC and the even stupider official story of 9/11), and now Insurrectionists!! (the 1/6 fraternity pajama party hoax), are still getting the same treatment from the people who came up with the New Deal in the 30's. John Beaty called them out in his book "The Iron Curtain Over America". Look at what Beaty is called on his wikipedia page and you'll get it.
It's really not that complicated. Everything Corporate Media says is not only not the story, it is probably the exact opposite of what they say.
That the odious Mass Man and Mass Woman believe them unthinkingly was also written about decades ago in "Isaiah's Job", by Albert Jay Nock.
The America of These United States is long gone. As the Asch Conformity experiments have told us, all it takes is one person speaking out about the obvious and the 35% following goes to around 4%.
That's it. The Experimental Gene Therapy. The Flu getting repackaged as CORONA (remember that there were zero flu deaths in 2020 - it was defeated!!), the election of 2020 ... just say what is obvious.
The breakup of the USA is inevitable. All you can do is identify the people who love servitude, and will do whatever Fauci and CNN tell them, and those who enjoy some basic human freedoms. I know what side I'm on.
Tell it like it is. Because people were afraid of being called 'McCarthyite' or 'conspiracy theorist', or 'xenophobe' is why we're in the nonsense we're in today.
Being called a name is a powerful force. Remember, American Aviator Hero Charles Lindbergh, for simply going against war, and pointing out that Europe's problems were not ours, was called an "Isolationist!" by the Corporate Press, and that's all it took. He never recovered. He lived in France for much of post WWII, even though he served.
That was over 80 years ago.
The Corporate Press. Whatever shred of credibility they had is long gone. It's time you recognized that.
